What Drives the 2022 Genesis G70 and G80?

The 2022 Genesis G70 is available in four models with a choice of two turbocharged engines. The G70 comes in a fuel-efficient 2.0L turbocharged inline 4-cylinder engine in either a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) or an all-wheel-drive (AWD) configuration. Both these models produce 252 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft of torque. However, if you want more power, you can opt for a 3.3L Twin Turbo V6 engine in RWD and AWD configurations. This engine cranks out 365 horsepower and 376 lb.-ft of torque. All the trims come with an 8-Speed Automatic transmission with Shift-by-Wire and Paddle Shifters.

The 2022 Genesis G80 comes with a 2.5L turbocharged engine in both RWD or AWD variants. This engine generates 300 horsepower and 311 lb.-ft of torque. The other engine option is a 3.5L Twin Turbo V6 which puts out 375 hp and 391 lb.-ft of torque. Both these engines are paired with 8-speed automatic transmission with steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
